1. What Inswing is
Inswing is a free service for scoring cricket matches and running cricket tournaments. There are no fees, subscriptions or payments of any kind, and Inswing never collects or handles money. Tournaments on Inswing are free to enter.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a username and password. Keep your password to yourself — you're responsible for what happens on your account.
- Your username must not impersonate someone else or be offensive. We may change or remove one that is.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. See Privacy for what happens to your data.
3. Organizing tournaments
- Organizers are responsible for their tournament: the details they publish, the fixtures, the venue, and how the matches are run.
- Don't publish false information — a venue that doesn't exist, a prize that isn't real, or a claim that a tournament is officially endorsed when it isn't.
- Don't ask entrants for money through Inswing. Anything arranged outside Inswing is between you and them.
- Announcements and photos you post must be yours to share and suitable for everyone.
4. Scores and records
Scores are entered by the people scoring each match. We work hard to make the scoring correct, but we can't guarantee that every scorecard is accurate. Scorecards may be corrected, and corrections are recorded.
5. The rules pages
The rules pages summarise the Laws of Cricket in our own words and link to the official text. The Laws of Cricket are © Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). If a summary and the official Laws ever differ, the official Laws apply. Competitions, including yours, may use their own playing conditions.
6. Behaviour
Don't harass other people, post abusive content, try to break or overload the service, or access accounts or data that aren't yours. We may remove content or suspend accounts that do.
7. No warranty
Inswing is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from using it.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect.
