What we store
- Your account: your username, display name, a securely hashed password (never the password itself), and anything you add to your profile — city, bio, skill level, photo.
- If you connected Google before October 2026: Inswing no longer offers Google sign-in, but an account that was linked earlier still holds that Google account's ID and email address until you delete your account. We never received your Google password, and never used your Google name or email as your username.
- Cricket: the matches you score or play in, and the tournaments you organize or enter.
- Sessions: a cookie that keeps you signed in. We store only a one-way fingerprint of it.
Location
We never ask your browser or phone for your location. The only location we know is the city you type into your profile or pick when browsing tournaments.
Who can see what
- Public matches, tournaments and scorecards can be seen by anyone.
- An organizer's phone number is shown only to teams entered in their tournament.
- You can control who sees parts of your player profile in Settings → Privacy.
Deleting your account
Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Your login details, sessions and Google link are removed and you're signed out. Scorecards other people rely on — matches you played in, tournament results — stay, but are no longer linked to you.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, show ads, or collect payments.
